Meet AGATHA

AGATHA is a 2-year-old female Bloodhound. She's a nice size at only 50 lbs, but that doesn't make her any less energetic. When she gets her nose to the ground, she's a little easier to handle. She came to us from a rural shelter.

She just started in our Paws Behind Bars prison dog training program so it's too soon for a good report out. What we do know is she loves people, and, with other dogs, she's food aggressive. We also know she'll be stubborn to train, but they all are. Her social skills appear to be good as not much is bothering her about her new environment. We have not heard her "sing," yet, but that's in there too! She thinks quite highly of herself as she's got a nice prance to her walk! If you're a Hound lover, this girl's for you!

If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of our online application, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months.  We review and schedule meet and greets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received.
